Introdution: The Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic abnormality of systemic character that generat to the respiratory system a hypersecretion and chronic bronchial obstruction. There is insufficient observation about postural changes on this population, with shortage of studies. Objective: To identify and describe the trunk postural changes in patients carrying the CF. Methods: This is observational study of the cross in CF patients. The postural analysis was performed by the traditional manner and through software CorelDRAW, was evaluated changes of head, shoulder, angle of Charpy and physiological curves of the spine. Results: There was greater prevalence of male black, with average age of 7.3 years. High frequency of internal rotation, asymmetry and anteriorly of shoulder. The average angle of Charpy was 92.5 (± 8.7). The lumbar spine, thoracic and cervical respectively were the most affected. These results are justified by the increase in resistive load on the respiratory system, promoting a stress chronic on the mioarticular system, producing biomechanical changes on the trunk. Conclusion: Children with CF have postural changes, the most frequently finds are asymmetry, anteriorly and internal rotation of shoulders, cervical rectification, hypercifose chest and hyperlordose lumbar.Downloads
