PEDAGOGICAL ATTENTION IN THE FORMATION OF PSYCHOLOGISTS

This article discusses the actions of the Núcleo de Atenção Psicopedagógica (Psychopedagogical Care Center), of the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (Bahia School of Medicine and Public Health), geared to the academic community, taken here in its particularity with the Psychology course and the formation of the psychologists. The NAPP is aimed at promoting mental health in the academic community through preventive and assistance interdisciplinary actions, from teaching and clinical axes, articulated by Psychopedagogy. The core structures their activities through clinical care, institutional actions and the Monitoring Program to Courses, which includes attention to students, teachers and course coordinators. It has, therefore, a multidisciplinary team comprised of educators, psychologists, psychiatrists and specialists in Psychopedagogy. The methodology used is descriptive-analytical, from the context of the creation of core and the record of their actions. The formation of the psychologists is an experience built by many agents and has on the horizon the autonomy of the individual. At NAPP clinic, the main demands of the students of Psychology coincide with the other courses of the institution as well as the prevailing clinical manifestations do not differ epidemiologically from the general population. NAPP's experience over the last ten years has consolidated a know-how that takes place on attention to the college student, which allows us to affirm the importance of such a core, in higher education, but also points to a differential in this cause, whathever is the fundamental link between clinical and education, ensnared by Psychopedagogy.
