Journal of Contemporary Nursing (JCN) is open for submissions
Created 10 years ago, with its first issue released in December 2012, the Journal of Contemporary Nursing (JCN) is dedicated to publishing empirical research on the interfaces of nursing with public health and also to contribute to the training of undergraduate and graduate researchers. The publication is part of the Bahiana Journals, a scientific journals webportal maintained by the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. It is open for the submission of new articles.
JCN offers open access, charging no submission fees. It is currently indexed by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and EBSCO, allowing a greater number of researchers and interested people to access its contents.
Having as editors-in-chief Cátia Suely Palmeira and Gilmara Ribeiro Santos Rodrigues, both professors from Bahiana (Bahia, Brazil), the journal publishes research on the interfaces of nursing with collective health, infectious diseases, pediatrics and neonatology, women's health, obstetrics, gender and sexuality, chronic diseases, emergency, critically ill patients, mental health, men's health; education and history of nursing; nursing processes and taxonomy; management and work in nursing; nursing technology.
